Rice University and the National Science Foundation are taking health games to the next level with a step game that makes the lives of kids better in more ways than one. SciRave, a research project led by chemistry/engineering/computer science professor Dr. James Tour, takes a popular dancing video game, Step Mania, and combines it with science-based music lessons to heighten student learning. Exercise, science education, and music–what more could one ask for?
Want to play the game? All you need is a dance mat, a PC adaptor, and the SciRave software which can be downloaded from the SciRave website…for FREE!
